Position – Technical Sales Manager 

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will bridge the gap between our technical offerings and customer needs. This role requires a deep understanding of both our products and the market to effectively position solutions, support the sales process, and build strong client relationships. You will play a critical role in identifying opportunities, crafting customized proposals, and driving revenue by aligning technical solutions with business value. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence decision-makers will be key to your success.
 

Your Key responsibilities:

Technical Consultation:

  • Conduct on-site and virtual assessments of customer production lines to identify adhesive-application bottlenecks.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and system proposals for both benchtop and multi-axis robotic platforms.

Solution Design & Proposal:

  • Collaborate with R&D and application engineering teams to develop bespoke dispensing cell layouts, including 3-axis benchtop stations and 6-axis robotic cells.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed quotations, ROI analyses, and implementation roadmaps.

Product Demonstrations:

  • Lead live demonstrations of 3-axis glue-dispensing workstations and 6-axis dispensing robots at trade shows, customer facilities, and virtual webinars.
  • Develop and present sample trials showcasing accuracy, repeatability, and cycle-time improvements.

Sales Process Management:

  •  Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Maintain CRM records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and forecasted revenues.

Customer Training & Support:

  • Provide hands-on training to customer engineers and operators on equipment setup, programming, and maintenance of both benchtop and robotic systems.
  •  Act as liaison with service teams to ensure prompt after-sales support and spare-parts fulfillment.   

Market Development:

  •  Identify and qualify new market segments (e.g., medical devices, electronics assembly).
  • Gather competitive intelligence and market feedback to inform product roadmap.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background  :  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field.

Experience : 3–5 years in technical sales or applications engineering, with hands-on experience deploying 3-axis benchtop glue-dispensing robots and 6-axis glue-dispensing robots.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Deep understanding of adhesive chemistry (epoxies, UV-cure, silicones) and dispensing technologies (time/pressure, gear-pump, peristaltic).
  • Proficient in programming and integrating both benchtop 3-axis systems and 6-axis robotic platforms.

Key Competencies:

  •  Excellent consultative-selling and presentation skills.
  •  Ability to interpret customer process data and translate into system requirements.
  •  Strong project-management and negotiation capabilities.

Communication & Teamwork : Fluent in English; proficiency in local languages (Hindi/Tamil/etc.) a plus.
